To my love on St. Valentine's Day!

On St. Valentine's Day, I kept thinking of you and us.

Love is the greatest privilege and power known to man. The greatest thing in life is to love and be loved! And you have got all! Bless you!

I sent you a bunch of roses in pictures. And now I use words to give you my Valentine's reflections on love.

May rosebuds of love always continue to bloom in your life. May full blooms of passionate red, loyal and devoted yellow, friendly and warm pink, and cool white roses offaith enrich each of your days. And when the roses of love and happiness fade away as do all the things in this life, may you press them in the Book of Your Life and cherish them with peace in your memories. With a Bouquet of Love for you! May our love be blessed!

Embrace the world with a tranquil mind.

In Praise of "Slow"

"Where on earth is the time we save?” A question that we're used to but no doubt is raised in Michael Ende's novel, Momo.

An important indication of Modernization--Industrialization--means a pursuit of punctuality and speed. Speed culture shows not only on speed-pursuing and time-saving but on time-spreading. For instance, people explore land, the sea, the universe, and even control space via internet; meanwhile, the 24-hour-open convenient stores, Karaoke and etc. are also a way of exploiting time. In fact, no matter space or time exploitation, they all have close relation to Expansionism and Possessivism.

Furthermore, Electronic media emphasize "real-time" speed. It makes us forget to properly respect and experience "real space," and also neglect the hid risk when we endlessly pursue speed.

Just as what is mentioned in Carl Honore's In Praise of Slow, speed-pursuing can not only prevent us from enjoying life, but destroy our environment. Thus, Paul Virilio, a Modern thinker, considers "speed-pursuing" a kind of "Gray Pollution" that corresponds to "Green Pollution" of environmental protection movement.

Time is money? Time, is our precious life. Time, is to love this world with our whole life!
