活在當下

當下這個片刻是一顆種子，它具有一切過去的樹木，它具有無數世代的樹木。這顆種子並非來自無處，它來自一棵樹，而那棵樹來自另外一顆種子，那顆種子又來自另外一棵樹。如果你再往前推，那顆種子將會帶領你到最起點--如果有任何起點的話。那個最起點一直都是永恆的此地。
這題種子也包含了未來的樹木，從這顆種子將會生出一棵新的樹，而那棵樹將會生出千千萬萬的種子，和千千萬萬棵樹。只要一顆種子就能夠使整個地球變成綠色的。我們甚至可以說，它能夠使整個宇宙變成綠色的，有很多東西包含在一顆小小的種子裡。
"現在"這個片刻就是一顆時間的種子，它是看不見的，因此我們不知道它包含了什麼，其實，它包含了整個過去，它也包含了整個未來。
不要想過去，也不要想未來，只要停留在"現在"這個片刻，那麼整個過去就是你的，整個未來也是你的。

Love in one's life

It is important to have the experience of love in one's life. I think where I've sometimes gotten hung up is over the form and progression the loving takes rather than just experiencing the love as it is. It is more important to be loved than to insist on particular forms. And even though the other side of love is hurt; however, having been truly loved eases the hurt over time and the positive memory eventually emerges and stays on. If, on the other hand, there is no true love, the only memory remaining is of some personal tragedy and that's no fun at all.
